Electrical Design Engineer

Position overall objective
Being responsible for designing electrical solution for HV products.
The work includes the establishment of requirements specifications, power calculations, selection of components for power electronics and control electronics, and drawing of circuit diagrams.


Responsibilities and work activities:
Responsible for the design for various types of Electrical cabinets of product portfolio such as Control Cabinet, SmartKraft, PLC etc.. based on customer requirements from quoting to final documentation.
Components, wire, busbar sizing and selection based on ?power calculations and adding to the company database system
Create documentation based on Company process and Customer requirements
Creating design configurator tool in EPlan to add automation design concept by Cogineer.
Take part in maintenance of products that are released and to participate in development projects



Your Profile:
Master or bachelor's in electrical engineering or relevant work experience.
Power electronic and Industrial background.
Preliminary AutoCAD knowledge.
Strong interest in in technology and development
Open and flexible to the challenges
Have a good communication skills and ability to work with both internal and external resources.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.
Strong time management skills.

The company is growing and needs reinforcement with an Electrical Engineer within Business Unit High Voltage. You will be part of a multi-functional team which today consists of 10 employees in Sweden working towards the global market through our local sales offices.
Responsibilities:
In the role of electrical engineer, you will be responsible for the design of various types of control cabinets, from customer specification till purchasing and manufacturing documentation. The work includes the establishment of requirements specifications, power calculations, selection of components for power/control electronics, and drawing of circuit diagrams. Our products are often customer- or project-specific in the energy and process industries.
Your qualifications
• You are a master degree in Power electronic engineering with a specialization in electrical / automation or equivalent work experience
• You have experience in electrical construction
• Experience with EPLAN, ECAD and Solidworks 3D CAD is a merit.
• We look forward to having experience in designing control cabinets for industrial applications
• Basic knowledge from MS Office applications
• Fluent in English, both speech and writing
