Position overall objective

Being responsible for designing electrical solution for HV products.
The work includes the establishment of requirements specifications, power calculations, selection of components for power electronics and control electronics, and drawing of circuit diagrams

Responsibilities and work activities:

- Responsible for the design of various types of Electrical cabinets for High Voltage product portfolio such as Control Cabinet, SmartKraft , PLC etc.. based on customer requirements from quoting to final documentation.
- Components, wire, busbar sizing and selection based on power calculations and adding to the company database system.
Create documentation based on Company process and Customer requirements
Creating design configurator tool in EPlan to add automation design concept by Cogineer.
- Take part in maintenance of products that are released and to participate in
development projects


Your Profile:

- Master or bachelor's in electrical engineering or relevant work experience.
- Power electronic and Industrial background.
- Preliminary AutoCAD knowledge.
- Strong interest in in technology and development
- Open and flexible to the challenges
- Have a good communication skills and ability to work with both internal and external resources.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
- Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong time management skills.

The role
The R&D team is looking for developers of embedded software. It is about code (mostly C as of today), about methods (software design, software testing, version and configuration management), not least about colleagues that like working with each other and share a strong interest in what we are doing here.
We are creating SW platforms. We use new generation STM32 CPUs but not only. In a typical application, a number of different I/Os are measured/driven in real time by a controller, whose function depends on the application: in terms of electrical parameters, we cover a very large span, it might be a matter of thousands of A rather than hundreds of thousands of V.
The products often include graphical user interfaces and different connectivity options, primarily CAN, Ethernet and other communication means typical of the industrial environments.
That is why we are looking for skilled SW developers that can produce structured and well documented code and also work in a laboratory environment, on the basis of good understanding of electrical and electronic systems.
Language skills: excellent English, written and spoken, is a requirement, Swedish is very appreciated.
