You will develop and perform tests on many levels in vehicles, boxcars and subset rigs. This means a broad experience on several widely different vehicle areas are needed.
Your daily work will run test programs, evaluate test results and prepare test objects as well as plan, execute and analyze tests together with internal customers. You will need to constantly learn and adopt new test methods and test systems and as we are in an expansion phase.
You contribute to improving our long term test capabilities by reviewing test methods, test tools, test efficiency, identify improvement areas and implement those changes. As we are introducing new vehicle technologies we expect further development of current test methods as well as new test areas, methods and tools.
Test automation is a capability with great potential and is being applied, and a regular task is to identify existing and new test areas to automate. Therefore, we put high expectations on that automation must bring a true value to product quality. Therefore, understanding the test areas or vehicle functions under test and not just automation methods is an important insight.

Required qualifications / skills:
• B.Sc. in Electrical and Software Engineering or similar relevant experience
• Senior test developer and executor with proven technical skills and understanding of the value testing bring to the product quality
• Skills in test methodology, test versus product requirements coverage, test efficiency
• Deep knowledge within integration testing, such as CI, boxcars, subset test
• Proven skills in prioritization among test objects and tests in a rapid changing environment
• Experience in evaluation of test results, deviation handling, problem reports generation

What will you do?
As a Senior Software developer, you will be one of the people that lead our development and guide the team. You will together with the rest of the audio platform team develop the low-level platform software modules of the Android based infotainment system with focus on audio. This work also consists of designing, developing, and debugging audio related APIs, solve SW problems that are close to the hardware and optimize the platform for performance.

Do you fit the profile?
To be successful in this role you have several years experience of software development of embedded systems (Linux or Android platform development), C++ (preferably ver. 14 or 17). Your academic background is a Master's degree in computer science or similar. Proven experience in the audio domain with understanding of audio signal flows, audio blocks and audio communication protocols like SomeIP/AVB, A2B etc are important for the role. You are familiar working in an organization that has a large continuous integration flow and works seamlessly with tools like GIT/Gerrit. If you have knowledge from working in the QNX domain and experience of working with the Android HAL that is meritorious.

Drive and lead Anatomy Workshops with high importance for the integration of the new platforms.
• We make sure that the Anatomies are well documented, understandable and agreed within the organization.

• When the Anatomy is agreed its increments can be used as basis for the integration scenarios in the integration plan
